Full-time Learning
Take all your courses online while staying enrolled in your school
Keep working toward your school’s graduation requirements, participate in your school’s extracurricular activities and events, and continue receiving support while taking courses full-time online at NSO.
Steps for Taking Courses Full-time at NSO
1. Talk to your School Counselor
If you are interested in taking your courses full-time online at NSO, start by speaking to your school counselor. Students taking more than 50% of their courses online in any given term will need school approval.
2. Create a plan for your course schedule
Meet with your school counselor to determine the courses, credit types, and start and end dates to meet your school’s requirements and then request your courses.
3. Connect with NSO
Contact NSO to connect with an NSO School Counselor to help you prepare for your full-time online learning.
4. Get started in your online courses
Taking online courses full-time at NSO offers a lot of flexibility and independence, but there is always someone here to support you! Before starting in your courses, you will attend a synchronous Welcome Session and meet with support staff to help you get started.
Support in your Full-time Learning
Learning full-time online can be an adjustment if you are used to going to school in-person. We have supports set up to help you get the hang of learning online full-time. You may be learning online, but you are never learning alone.
