Learning opportunities for all students
Most courses through NSO are offered at no cost to your family, but if you are taking courses to get ahead in your learning or don't qualify to take courses as supplemental or credit recovery, our tuition options can fit your needs.
Who can take courses for tuition at NSO:

Any student taking a course in the summer or in addition to a full course schedule during the school year to accelerate their learning.

Students who attend a private school or homeschool and would like to take a course online at NSO.

Students who reside outside of Minnesota.

Trimester 0.33 Credit (Tri A, B, or C) | $275 |
Quarter 0.25 Credit (Quarter A, B, C, or D) | $200 |
Full-year 1.0 Credit (Sem A and Sem B) | $790 |
Tuition Payments
- When requesting your course, choose “TU: This course work is being taken in addition to a full load at School and I agree to pay the tuition.”
- Once you are enrolled in the course, instructions for payment will be emailed to your guardian.
- Tuition is due at the time of enrollment in the course and payment can be made through your guardian's NSO Account.
