Course Description
This course is designed for students in Elementary school who are in accelerated math courses to give them an opportunity to examine the core ideas of mathematics with greater depth. Gifted Math 7 follows the Math 7 curriculum with additional support for our younger learners.
This comprehensive course includes introductory geometry, probability/statistics concepts and prepares students for the algebra topics covered in Algebra 1. Students learn through discovery and application, developing the skills they need to break down complex challenges and demonstrate their knowledge in new situations. This course supports all students as they develop computational fluency and deepen conceptual understanding. Students begin each lesson by discovering new concepts through text and video instruction, and then confirm their understanding in an interactive, feedback-rich environment.
