French 2

Course Description

This course teaches basic vocabulary and grammar that are typically taught in a secondary level French 2 course and encourages students to build basic conversational and literacy skills in French through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. By completing the lessons, students learn to expand their vocabulary and to express themselves in French. Grammar is introduced and practiced in practical contexts. In addition, cultural information is woven throughout this course in order to expose students to the people, geographical locations, food, music, and other cultural aspects of the francophone (French-speaking) world.
