Government and Citizenship

Course Description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the history and impact of the U.S. government on our daily lives. Students will examine key foundational documents, explore the three branches of government, and develop critical skills in analyzing information and recognizing bias, all while gaining the knowledge necessary to take an active role in local government issues. 

This course must be taken in 11th or 12th grade for students beginning grade 9 in the 2025-2026 school year to meet state requirements.
