How NSO Works
Meet your Learning Goals
Whether you are looking for some flexibility in your schedule, are behind in graduation credits, want to advance your learning, or just like learning online, we have options for you.
Stay Enrolled at your School
Enjoy the variety of classes and flexibility of online learning without losing any of the connection you have to your school. All students taking NSO courses need to be enrolled at a school.
Choose your Schedule
Take the course you need when you need it. Enrollment stays open almost all school year so you can choose the start and end dates, course, and credits that work for your schedule and graduation requirements. You can take any portion of the course you need at anytime during the term (for example, take Semester B of a course during your Semester A term).
Work at your Individualized Pace
Asynchronous courses mean there are no set times when you need to log in or live meetings. Follow your individual pacing plan and complete your course work at the time of day that works for you.
Learn with Experienced, Licensed Teachers
Your licensed teacher will support your learning through feedback on your work, help with content, and 1:1 meetings when needed. Support staff, Special Education teachers, tech support, and school counselors help you along the way.
Get Started in your Online Learning
I cannot say enough great things about your program! My daughter had a wonderful teacher and learned SO MUCH!!! And, I loved that I got weekly progress updates and could log in anytime to see how she was doing. I am so appreciative that courses like ASL and Japanese are available to students, especially because those two courses are not available in our school district. - Theresa, NSO Parent
